This series I created in an effort to express my frustrations with the current state of our environment, and with what little care we are giving it as a species. My feelings reached a peak immediately following the recent earthquake and hurricane on the East coast of America.

A tribute to one of my favorite models and good friends, Paula Aguiar. This was our last shoot together before her ventures abroad. Inspired by the 2010 holiday campaign for H&M by Daniel Jackson.

This body of work is a physical manifestation of the nightmares that I once had. They are strange, and disturbed, and neurotic, and beautiful.
I was influenced by images from photographers David Sims and Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, and by older horror films like Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder. I also looked to the Austrian figurative painter Egon Schiele, and his twisted, Expressionist figure paintings and drawings.

This project is my interpretation of the ancient Greek Gods. My influences, apart from the ancient folklore, include Karl Lagerfeld and the art of the theater tableau.
